QUESTIONS |
Lorem |
Q:Have you received any professional training? If so,
what kind?
A: We
have several in-house
videographers. Some
are scholastically
trained, the others,
it is their passion
and they sought the
knowledge out. All
of them are creative
and skilled with
no less than 5 years
experience in practical
shooting environments
each. |
Q:How many weddings have you done?
A: Our
company as of this
writing as shot and
edited over 150 wedding
videos. |
Q:Have you received any awards?
A: Yes.
We do not typically
enter award contests,
but we did enter
last year and won
an Award of Excellence
(highest honors). |
Q: Do
you belong to any
videography associations
like WEVA or a local
PVA (Professional
Videographers Association)?
A: Yes,
we do belong to WEVA.
It is very important
to maintain ties
into the community
of other professionals
in order to make
sure you are on top
of your field and
up-to-date with all
technology advances. |
Q: May we see some actual wedding videos that you have
done, especially any you have shot at our ceremony
or reception sites?
A: We
would not have it
any other way. We
insist you watch
one of our complete
wedding videos that
our customers have
actually received
prior to signing
a contract with you. |

| STYLE
QUESTIONS |
Lorem |
Q: How do you tell the story of a wedding/reception?
A: A
wedding story has
many "ebbs and flows".
Our method is to
visually guide the
viewer to what they
are ABOUT to see
by showing iconographic
elements that represent
what they are about
to see, and then
ease them into seeing
what we were teasing
about. An example
of this would be
starting with the
shoes, moving up
to the neclace, earrings,
rings... what do
you think comes next?
RIGHT! the dress!
We do this for nearly
every "key" moment
of the wedding day.
Starting the rehearsal,
going to the bride's
house for pre-ceremony
coverage, then on
to the ceremony,
and then the reception
where there are several
key moments that
need to be introduced,
shown, and let down
from. |
Q: What is your style?
A: This
is difficult to describe
because some people
confuse "documentary
style" with Cinematic
so easily. We produce
a wedding video of
a quality that will
leave you breathless
and wondering how
we did it. More often
it is described as
Cinematic because
of all the effects
and editing techniques
we employ, however,
the BEST way to judge
is by viewing our
demo's online or
by setting a meeting
with us to present
one of our more
recent ones to you. |
Q: Will
you be able to accomodate
my personal preferences
into your edited
product?
A: We
are more than able
to accomodate your
personal preferences.
The one thing we
will not do is a
simple, barely edited
wedding video though.
The reason is that
if Simply Interactive
puts our name on
it, it has to live
up to our standards
of quality. |

| EQUIPMENT
QUESTIONS |
Lorem |
Q: Is your camera, lighting, sound, editing, and dubbing
equipment high quality and up-to-date?
A: All
of our equipment
is within 2 years
old and still at
the top as far as
quality is concerned.
We maintain our equipment
very well by having
it serviced by the
manufacturer every
year to bring it
back into the manufacturers
specifications for
operation. |

QUESTIONS |
Lorem |
Q: What
kind of camera's
do you use?
A: We
use a wide range
of cameras depending
on the shoot specifications.
However, to look
them up, we use Canon
XL1S, Sony PD170,
Sony PD150, and JVC
5100U. |
Q: What type of video format would we end up with?
A: Any
format you like. |
Q: How
many cameras do you
use to shoot the
event?
A: This
depends on which
package you choose,
however, typically
it is two with a
third, unmanned stationary
camera. |
Q: Do you have a backup camera or videographer in case
something goes wrong with the main camera?
A: We
have a wealth of
cameras in our posession
and always bring
backups. |
Q: How bright is the light your equipment require? (Could
it destroy the mood of the event?)
A: Typically
we do not use lights
unless it is exceedingly
dark, and even then
we only leave them
on for the main events
and spot-shots at
the reception. We
have never had to
use lights during
a ceremony, even
one that was only
lit by candles and
no windows. |
Q: Do you use a wireless microphone to get the best sound
recording?
A: We
have an arsenal of
audio equipment and
bring enough to
mic everyone and
the church mouse. |

QUESTIONS |
Lorem |
Q: How many other weddings are you doing the same day or weekend of our wedding? Are there possible scheduling problems?
A: We
can handle up to
3 weddings on a single
day OR 5 in a weekend.
There has never been
a scheduling problem
in the past because
we plan very far
in advance. |
Q: How
many other weddings
are you doing the
same day or weekend
of our wedding? Are
there possible scheduling
problems?
A: We
can handle up to
3 weddings on a single
day OR 5 in a weekend. |
Q: How
far are you willing
to travel?
A: We
have gone down to Southern
California several
times and only ask
for a nominal travel
fee to cover gas and
hotel expenses. |

| COST
QUESTIONS |
Lorem |
Q: Do
you charge a flat-rate,
or is it by the hour?
A: Flat-Rate
only. You will not
have to watch your
clock while we are
on the job. We start
when you tell us
to and finish the
same way. |
Q: How
many locations are
included in the packages?
A: As
many as are necessary
to cover your wedding
day. As with above,
do not worry, we
will do what it takes
to do a great job
- including bringing
you coffee in the
morning. |
Q: Do
you charge more for
adding more effects
to the edited video?
A: I
would never charge
more to make your
wedding video something
I would be proud
to have my company
name on. |

| MISCELLANEOUS
QUESTIONS |
Lorem |
Q: Will you wear a suit or tux at the event?
A: We
have a lot of equipment
to lug around, and
are often in a hurry
to move it. A tuxedo
is typically too
hot and uncomfortable
to do our job with
confidence. We always
dress nice, but choose
clothes that are
confortable and allow
us to do our job
flawlessly. |
Q: How
soon can we expect
our videos to be
done?
A: We
employ one wedding
video editor so the
finished video is
returned at a time
really dependent
on how busy our wedding
season was. Typically
it ranges between
2 and 6 months. Sometimes
sooner, sometimes
longer. |
Q: Can we keep/buy the unedited original?
A: Absolutely.
15.00 per tape. |
